Skin Analytics Raises $15M to Propel AI-Powered Breakthroughs in Skin Cancer Care

Skin Analytics is excited to announce that we have raised £15,000,000 in new funding, a significant milestone that will propel our mission of ensuring that no one dies from skin cancer. As the creators of DERM—the world’s most advanced AI-powered medical device for skin cancer detection—this investment will accelerate our efforts to enhance and expand our innovative skin cancer pathways. Our technology is already making a tangible impact in collaboration with NHS dermatology teams by streamlining the patient journey. With our AI-driven system, benign skin lesions are discharged earlier, effectively reducing outpatient backlogs and ensuring that urgent cases receive the prioritized, potentially life-saving care they need. Since 2020, we have proudly partnered with 18 NHS organisations, making history as the first and only AI skin cancer pathway integrated within the NHS. DERM, the only Class IIa UKCA marked and Class III CE marked device in its category, has assisted in processing over 135,000 NHS patients and identifying more than 13,000 cancers. Additionally, our solution has helped NHS organisations avoid up to 95% of face-to-face appointments in secondary care, while also enabling remote skin assessment services for leading health partners like Bupa and Vitality. This new fundraising round underscores our commitment to delivering better patient outcomes, reducing treatment delays, and creating sustainable healthcare solutions for communities worldwide. With these funds, Skin Analytics is poised to further innovate our technology, extend our reach, and continually improve the future of skin cancer pathways on a global scale.
