Naturesave Trust Raises £5,000 in Grant Round for Environmental Projects: Empowering Communities and Renewing Energy Initiatives

We are thrilled to announce that the Naturesave Trust has successfully raised £5,000 to further amplify its commitment to environmental sustainability and community resilience. Established in 1995 as the charitable arm of Naturesave Insurance, the Naturesave Trust is dedicated to funding impactful environmental, conservation, and community renewable energy projects across the UK. The funds raised will be directed towards advancing small-scale initiatives that foster ecological balance and promote renewable energy solutions, effectively aligning with the Trust’s core mission of fostering tangible, positive environmental change. To underscore its commitment, the Naturesave Trust allocates 10% from each insurance policy offered—ranging from Home Buildings and Renewable Energy Systems Insurance to Group Travel and Personal Accident Insurance—directly into a trust fund. Since its inception, the Trust has financed numerous initiatives, from the installation of wind turbines at educational institutions to the conservation of endangered species such as water voles in Dorset. The recent fundraising effort will enable Naturesave Trust to continue providing crucial start-up capital to small projects that have significant potential for environmental impact. In addition to project funding, the Trust offers complimentary Environmental Performance Reviews (EPR) to all Naturesave Commercial Combined clients, aiding businesses in assessing their environmental impact and enhancing accountability. By equipping clients with practical advice and eco-friendly solutions, the Naturesave Trust not only promotes sustainability but also recognizes businesses that meet environmental standards through the issuance of the Environmentally Aware Trading Certificate (EATC). This comprehensive approach ensures that every contribution is directed towards creating a greener, more sustainable future for our communities and the planet.
