Empowering Through Art: Art Encounter Secures $28,000 in Grant Funding

Art Encounter is excited to announce that we have successfully raised $28,000 to further our mission of fostering a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world through art. Established over 42 years ago in Evanston, Illinois, Art Encounter is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing interactive experiences that educate and empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our innovative programming spans art tours and travel, community outreach initiatives, and our notable Mural Arts Program. With this new funding, we aim to expand our community outreach efforts, reaching even more individuals who may not have had access to visual art experiences. The funds will help us develop new art tours that highlight local talent and history, while also allowing us to enhance our existing programs tailored for classrooms and underserved communities.
