Empowering Change: Black Beetle Health Secures £11K Grant to Boost Health Equity for LGBTQ+ and Communities of Colour

We are excited to announce that Black Beetle Health has successfully raised £11,000 in its latest funding round, marking a significant milestone for our mission-driven work. As an expert lived experience-led community public health organisation and registered charity, Black Beetle Health is committed to addressing health inequalities for LGBTQ+ Black and People of Colour in the UK. This new capital injection will further empower our efforts to provide evidence-based, peer-reviewed health education and resource development to communities that have historically been underserved. The funding will be strategically invested in expanding our range of culturally safe signposting services, developing more robust community support groups, and advancing participatory research projects that explore systemic health challenges. By supporting our consultancy services in health, wellbeing, and equality, these funds will also help us partner with local stakeholders to create tailored programs that reflect the unique needs and lived experiences of our communities. Every pound raised is a step forward in reducing the barriers that prevent many people from accessing the care they need. With this investment, Black Beetle Health will not only extend its outreach but also deepen its impact by enhancing the accessibility and quality of healthcare information available to people of colour throughout the UK.
